It’s official. Blaise Zabini is a wizard. As with Professor Sinistra, one of the translation teams needed to know the gender of that particular character because in the language they’re working with, it matters for their choice of words (in this case Portuguese). I didn’t know the answer, athough I was fairly sure Blaise was a boy’s name, so they checked with JKR. The word came back today that Blaise is in fact a boy.
Updates, edits, and additions all through the Lexicon these days. There are one or two Big Things coming, but I’ll wait on those until they’re ready to go.
