Chapter 10 - "The Rogue Bludger" - In which a note from Lockhart gets HRH into the Restricted Section of the library and a book on making Polyjuice Potion. At the Quidditch match a rogue Bludger chases Harry, breaking his arm but not stopping him from getting the Snitch. Lockhart's attempt to heal Harry removes the bones from his arm. Madam Pomfrey begins to heal him, Dobby pays a visit, and Colin Creevey is Petrified.

The Trio Investigates
Harry, Hermione, and Ron explore the hallway where Mrs. Norris was attacked, noticing a large number of spiders and going into the girls bathroom to ask Moaning Myrtle if she saw anything.
Percy spies Ron leaving Moaning Myrtle's bathroom and confronts him, implying that his antics hurt Ginny; Ron responds by pointing out that Percy's more frightened of losing his chance to be [Head Boy].
The trio begins to wonder whether Malfoy might be the heir of Slytherin, and at Hermione's suggestion, they plot to brew [Polyjuice Potion] to find out, once they can get into the [Restricted Section] of the library.
Polyjuice Potion
During one of Lockhart's typically useless Defence Against the Dark Arts classes, Harry enthusiastically plays a werewolf form one of Lockhart's books to butter him up, so that he'll give Hermione a pass to the [Restricted Section] of the library.
After class, Hermione asks Professor Lockhart for a pass to the library's [Restricted Section], which he signs off on without a glance.
Hermione leads Harry and Ron to the library, where thanks to Lockhart's note they get a book with the formula for [Polyjuice Potion]. Madam Pince, however, won't let Hermione keep the signed note.
Sitting in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, Hermione plots the things she, Ron, and Harry will need to do to successfully brew [Polyjuice Potion] - including, they realize, breaking into Snape's private stores.
Gryffindor vs. Slytherin
Harry wakes up early and heads to breakfast, eating with the [Gryffindor team] before they all walk down to the [locker room] together for [Oliver Wood]'s pregame speech.
The big Slytherin-Gryffindor [Quidditch] match begins, but Harry is soon surprised when a Bludger seems to be programmed just to go after him. After a quick timeout, he tells his teammates to leave him and the Bludger alone, and before long it breaks his arm. Harry, though, quickly speeds toward Malfoy, who doesn\\\'t realize the Snitch is right next to him, and catches it to win the match.
