Kappa: A water demon found in shallow ponds and rivers. It is monkey-like with fish scales and a hollow in its head. Kappas feed on human blood.
Kelpie: A shape-shifting water demon that appears most often as a horse with a bullrush mane. Dangerous and carnivorous.
Knarl: Resembling a hedgehog, the Knarl is a very suspicious creature. When offered a gift of food the Knarl will destroy the giver's garden thinking that the gift is an attempt at a trap.
Kneazle: A small catlike creature with overlarge ears and the tail of a lion. Highly intelligent and very loyal to witches and wizards that it comes to like. Has the ability to detect unsavory characters and has an incredible sense of direction.

Leprechaun: A mischievous creature found in Ireland. Capable of human speech and enjoys Muggle attention. Leprechaun gold vanishes after a few hours.
Lethifold: A dangerous creature resembling a black cloak, it creeps up on its sleeping victims, suffocates them and then completely devours them. Patronus Charm is the only known spell to repel a Lethifold.
Lobalug: An aquatic creature whose venom is used in poisons. Consists of only a rubbery sprout and a venom sac.

Mackled Malaclaw: A lobsterlike creature that, when eaten, produces a high fever and rash. Bite makes victim temporarily unlucky.
Manticore: Dangerous beast with the head of a man, the body of a lion, and the tail of a scorpion. Strong skin repels charms.
Merpeople: Preferring to remain classified as "beasts," Merpeople live in varying underwater communities all around the world.
