Harry, Hermione, and the Weasleys took three Muggle taxis from the Burrow to King’s Cross at the end of the summer break before Harry’s fourth year (GF11).
Several Dr. Filibuster’s Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks went off inside one of the Muggle taxis when Fred's trunk opened unexpectedly. Crookshanks was so startled he clawed the taxi driver in the leg (GF11).
