The wandless

The wandless were individuals who, under the Death Eater-run government, were stripped of their wands under suspicion of not being real witches and wizards and had to resort to begging to get by (DH26).

Hermione, Ron, Harry, and Griphook encounter a group of desperate wandless people in Diagon Alley and hear the Death Eater travers speak about them in contempt and refer to one as “it” (DH26).
