Place de Furstemberg

CG Spoilers SPOILER ALERT - this page contains information from the new film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Don't continue reading if you don't haven't seen the film. Protect the secrets!

Place de Furstemberg is a small square in Paris, France. The trees in the center of the square provide entrance to the French Ministry of Magic. “Queenie approaches the trees in the middle of the square. She coughs. The roots of the trees rise up and form a birdcage elevator around her, which descends into the earth (CG50).”

There is an alleyway looking out over the square (CG87).

Notes

Place de Furstemberg may be the Magical Community’s version of the actual Rue Furstenberg, Note the one letter difference in spelling. There has been reference to a Wallace fountain in descriptions of the Place but this is not stated in canon.
