A breed of winged horse, chestnut in color.



The Greek word aethon means 'burning,' 'blazing,' or 'shining,' and can also denote the colour red-brown or tawny.

In Greek mythology Aethon was the name of one of the horses that pulled the chariot of Helios, god of the sun.
