Man or Monster? The TRUTH About Newt Scamander is an inaccurate biography of Magizoologist Newt Scamander written by widely discredited journalist Rita Skeeter (FB).

It contains many “wild assertions”, including an accusation that Scamander was in fact a spy attempting to infiltrate the MACUSA, and the suggestion that he was guilty of breaking the heart of President Seraphina Picquery. In the foreword to a new edition of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Scamander refuted Skeeter’s claims (FB).

Assuming the new edition of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was published at the same time in the wizarding and Muggle worlds, Man or Monster? The TRUTH About Newt Scamander must have been published around 2016, given that he describes it as "recent" (FB).
