Johnson,
Angelina
(b. October 1977)
Gryffindor (1989- 1996) Quidditch Chaser, captain (1995 - 1996).
A tall black girl (GF16) and an excellent Quidditch player (PS11); born in October, the week before Hallowe'en (GF16). She put her name in for the Triwizard Tournament but wasn’t chosen (GF16), and went to the Yule Ball with Fred Weasley (GF22, GF23). Angelina became Quidditch captain in 1995 (OP12), which stressed her out and gave her something of a mean streak (OP13).
Later in life, Angelina married George Weasley and had two children, Fred and Roxanne (YL).
Jones,
Gwenog

(b. 1968)
Hogwarts (1979- 1986).
Captain and Beater of
the only all-female professional Quidditch
team, the Holyhead
Harpies. After a game she enjoys relaxing with friends, drinking butterbeer,
and listening to The
Weird Sisters (fw).
It has been said of Jones that "people who disagree with [her] have
a nasty habit of turning into woodlice."
She herself says that the Harpies "are
easily the most exciting team playing," and added that witches make
better Quidditch players than
wizards. It is doubtful that anyone will disagree with her to her face
(DP). Gwenog was a favorite
of Horace Slughorn's while at Hogwarts.
She was a member of his Slug Club. She still
sends Slughorn free tickets to see the Harpies play
whenever he wants them. He even invited her to one of his parties while
back at Hogwarts during
the 1996 - 1997 school
year, and Hermione met
Gwenog there (HBP14).
"Wizard of the Month" for June 2004 on JK Rowling's website (JKR).
Jones,
Hestia
New member of the Order of the Phoenix. Pink-cheeked, black-haired witch who was part of the Advance Guard that helped Harry in his escape from Privet Drive (OP3), and assigned to escort the Dursleys to safety before Harry's departure (DH3).
Jones, Megan
Megan's name appears in the draft of the classlist of Harry's year that Jo displayed during the "Harry Potter and Me" TV interview (HPM). She is half-blood. Megan has never appeared in canon, but her name is listed here because she apparently existed in early plans for the books. [Essay on the classlist]

Lee

(b. circa 1978)

A compatriot of Fred and George Weasley, who commentated Quidditch matches until his graduation from Hogwarts, though he occasionally let himself get off topic (PS11). He is a black boy with dreadlocks (OP10). Two years after graduating, Lee resurfaced as the host of Potterwatch (DH22). (More...)
