Death Potion

There was a pool full of Death Potion in the Death Cell at MACUSA Headquarters in 1926 which was used to execute prisoners (WFT).

• Happy memories are removed from the minds of prisoners by Executioners and dropped into the pool of Death Potion. The potion functions like a Pensieve to display the memories which in turn lulls the prisoners into a state of calm as they are slowly lowered by chair into the deadly brew (WFT).
• When something touches the potion, "viscous black bubbles" rise and swallow it up (WFT).
• Tina Goldstein nearly succumbed to the potion but was rescued by Newt Scamander's Swooping Evil (WFT).
