Notes
Most dragons seem to be native to parts of Europe with a few far-flung varieties around the world. This suggests that perhaps there are more dragon species out there in the parts of the world which are less familiar to the average British wizard.
This map includes several non-dragon species: the Snallygaster and the Wyvern.
