Protective Order on Thunderbirds

By

The Protective Order on Thunderbirds was an edict issued by Seraphina Picquery that protected Thunderbirds at a time when MACUSA had a kill-to-curse policy on all magical creatures. Later, the order was expanded to cover all magical creatures (FB).

The order was instituted a year after Newt Scamander came to the U.S. in late 1926 to return a trafficked Thunderbird to its natural habitat (FB).
