The Eastern Front was a large area of eastern Europe where much fighting took place during World War I. It included the Russian Empire and Romania on one side and the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Bulgaria, the Ottoman Empire, and the German Empire on the other. Newt Scamander was stationed on the Eastern Front during the war, where he primarily worked the Ukrainian Ironbelly Dragons (WFT).
