Pure-blood extremist groups are dangerous radical groups who will use violence against Muggles to promote their supremacist, prejudiced views. A number of these groups were active during the tenure of Maximillian Crowdy as Minister for Magic, but he exposed them and routed them out. Some suggest that his death in office in 1781 was caused by members of these groups (Pm).
