"….even die-hard fans must have been dubious about the Bats' chances"
-- match report in the Daily Prophet (DP2)
Bats Survive the Tornados is an article published in the Sports section of the Daily Prophet (DP2).
The Prophet reports on a Quidditch match where a surprise win by the Ballycastle Bats over former league leaders Tutshill Tornados was attributed to a suspicious bout of “sleeping sickness” which affected the performance of the Tornados’ keeper, Mervyn Fenwick (DP2).
Another example of where any tactic will be used in a Quidditch match - as long as the referee doesn't notice....
Although the date printed on the second Daily Prophet Newsletter (DP2) is 8 February 1999, the timeframe for this event is 1992-1993.
